GOPEX CORPORATION was established in the State of Florida on July 11th 2000 with the purpose to be the purchasing agent of foreign companies in order to do import-export services and transportation logistics of different kind of goods, among others building and construction materials between US and Colombia.
During the seven initial years the company built a solid reputation in the Architectural and Civil Engineering community in Colombia becoming a thoughtful partner for foreign companies in the US, allowing GOPEX CORP. to achieve its revenues goals by trading constructions materials under USA guidelines and specifications. Luis Gonzalez, owner of 52%, has twenty five years of experience selling construction products and in the construction business in Colombia and Latin America and Javier Gonzalez, owner of 35% is a logistics expert with more than 15 years of experience with a solid name and reputation in the Latin American cargo industry.
Today the company has consolidated a reputation within the Freight Forwarding industry in South Florida as a trusted partner that secures and handle any type of cargo and also provide a full portfolio of import-export services, as well as a consulting supplier for companies looking to move General and Specialized Cargo from the US to the world, and shipping Cargo and Courier through third party providers.
